Double, violet-red, very fragrant blossoms that appear in a large flush in early summer, and then repeat all summer, followed by large, scarlet hips. This plant grows about 6 feet tall and develops a vase-like shape making it suitable to grow by itself. Very reliable and winter hardy. A favorite with many of our customers because it reminds them of the roses their grandmothers grew. Winter hardy to Zone 3.
